Part of the Oakland Thrive Small Business program, our Global Resource Program helps new immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers become entrepreneurs and improve their small businesses.
If you are new to the United States — in the country less than 5 years — and want to start your own business, Oakland Thrive’s Global Resource Program can help.
The goal is to build a comprehensive, accessible program for new immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers to create an entrepreneurial pathway. We provide practical training to help potential and existing entrepreneurs develop realistic business plans and build sustainable businesses in Oakland County.
